Why is there hype around hyperscalers? What is the value proposition provided by these market players?

 

Is it fair to position Hyperscalers offerings for B2B? Shall we take the Consumer Core Function out of the equation? Will you welcome hosting vBNG on the public cloud?

 

We see different themes and tactics of Hyperscalers offerings. So, sometimes we see a hyperscaler that does many acquisitions, that eventually leads to offering a full stack including the telco apps. While Others tend to promote the idea of partnerships and have a list of certified telco apps and sometimes using the Marketplace as a differentiator. How do you see these strategies and what actually the telcos are looking for?

 

Many PRs lately has been published out of the MWC announcing partnerships between the Operators and hyperscalers and even the hyperscalers involvement in Telco initiatives are significantly increasing (e.g. AWS AI OpenRan). What does this mean and how we interpret these announcements?

 

The relation between hyperscalers and Telco vendors. Is it a competition or a partnership?

 

Does shifting to an OPEX-based model give an edge to hyperscalers

 

Who has the upper hand in the certification programs? Do Telco vendors cooperate with Hyperscales in such programs?

 

Is it a good strategy to adopt Multi-cloud? How do you see the EU’s demand to charge OTTs? Is there an opportunity here for Telcos or Hyperscalers?

 

Is there a threat to the classic Telco Skillset?
